Job description: 

Field Service Technician I (FS Tech-I) will provide technical assistance and guidance to customer representatives with maintenance, repair, and services of SF₆ handling equipment and gas insulated equipment. An FS Tech-I may also perform specific tasks on his/her own with some minor supervision and guidance from other FS Techs or supervisor. All FS Techs report to the DILO Direct Operations Manager in their assigned region unless specifically advised in writing otherwise.

Requirements/Qualifications:

• Travel 75% to 80% of the calendar year (via airplane and vehicle domestically and international)
• Must have electro-mechanical knowledge and capabilities to work on electrical circuits, mechanical pumps and compressors, plumbing and electronics.
• Strong troubleshooting and electrical-mechanical analysis skills.
• Must be 25 years or older with a valid drivers license due to insurance requirements in order to operate company and rental vehicles.
• Lift maximum 50lbs and climb ladders, and equipment as required.
• Minimum 3 years in similar field or vocational, or college/university graduate of engineering, or electro-mechanical trade.
